FEBNM Exam
The FEBNM 2024 exam consists of two parts:
- MCQ exam (written part, onsite online MC)
- Oral exam (oral part, onsite in person)
This year both parts will take place during the EANM’24 Annual Congress, in Hamburg.

MCQ EXAM
The written part of the European Board Examination of Nuclear Medicine is planned to be held onsite of the EANM’24 Annual Congress, in Hamburg on October 18, 2024. The MCQ exam is a multiple choice test that you have to take on a computer that is prepared for you at the venue.
After applying for the exam and approval of your eligibility you will receive your log in data for the written part about a week before the exam. Once logged in you have got 150 minutes for 140 type A questions to complete the exam. You will receive your result shortly after the exam is over. When successful, you are invited to do the oral exam.
ORAL EXAM
The oral part of the European Board Examination of Nuclear Medicine is also planned to be held onsite of the EANM’24 Annual Congress, in Hamburg on October 18, 2024 and October 19, 2024.
This exam will be opened for candidates who passed the MCQ exam (written part) in 2023 or the year before but could not take the second part of the exam. Also, applicants who have passed the MCQ onsite online exam which will be held earlier on the same day.
Due to limited seats for the oral exam, registration will be on a first come, first served basis. Should you only register for the MCQ exam and decide later on that you want to participate in the Oral exam as well, we cannot guarantee you that there will still be an available seat for you. Even if you pass the MCQ exam at the venue, if you haven’t registered for the Oral exam as well you will not be allowed to participate. Early Cancellation Fee for Oral Exam : EUR 50,-
2 weeks prior to exam: EUR 100,-
